SEBRING ELKS LODGE DONATION - August 11, 2023

Pictured is Sebring Elks Lodge Exalted Ruler Johnathan Spiegel and officers presenting a $1000 check to be used for Arcadia Lodge building restoration.  Also present on Friday were members of the Lake Placid and Plant City lodges to offer support at our reopening.  ELKS CARE ELKS SHARE!

        ELKS NATIONAL FOUNDATION GRANTS

Arcadia Lodge 1524 partnered with the DeSoto County School District to host a back-to-school fair that included the Lodge partnering with the Health Department and Arcadia Main Street to offer free back-to-school supplies ON July 29th at the Turner Center. Arcadia Lodge supplied funding for computer mice and ear buds that was attained by $8,500 ELKS NATIONAL FOUNDATION Community Investment Program grants. Lodge members assisted with distribution of the school supplies

BROTHERHOOD RIDE – SEPTEMBER 7, 2019
 Arcadia Elks lodge held a fund raising dinner to support the two local Elks members (Joey Santos/DeSoto Sheriff’s Department and Ricky Mercer/DeSoto Fire Department) who are participating in this year’s Brotherhood Ride.
The 2019 Brotherhood Ride is dedicated to 19 Florida Fallen Heroes who died in the line of duty in 2018 while protecting their communities. The team of law enforcement officers and firemen will honor them by bicycling through the state of Florida for 7 days, covering over 600 miles and average 80-100 miles a day. The ride will begin on October 20th from Titusville, will travel north to Jacksonville and then bicycle south through the center of the state before finishing on October 26th in Fort Myers, FL.
